《说食数宝》以“识境观心”为核心，依唯识学辨析能观之心与所观之境，复以天台教观判明观慧之浅深。全书指出，能识境即能识心，一切境皆唯心所现；若于依他起法妄执实有，则落遍计所执，若能遣除我法二执，则依他无非圆成。作者由此融通唯识三性、天台一心三观及圆教六即，以明由迷而悟、由染而净的观心进路。
全篇进一步从六科展开辨析：四分三量、三境、三量、三性、因缘果、十界三性，并以日常所见“苹果”为例，由一境而详明见分、相分、自证分、证自证分，以及心识、因果与十法界之间的关系，使较为深细的唯识法相落实于现前一念、一境之中。其旨不止于名相分别，而在由“辨境”进于“观心”，由教理解会归亲证。故作者以“说食数宝”自警，强调一乘妙理贵在亲证，而非仅停留于言说知识。
作者简介 / About the Author
云水僧源恒，自号寄舟道人。鲁人，癸亥年生。乙未剃染，丙申圆具。后游历诸方，研教习禅。述有《寄舟道人文集初编》《论语之大乘菩萨精神》《说食数宝》等著作。摘录《宗镜录》《蕅益大师全集》诸要义，合有百万余字，兼为按语提挈，亦是初学入道之捷径。
Venerable Yuanheng, an itinerant Buddhist monk, styles himself Ji Zhou Daoren. A native of Shandong, he was born in a Guihai year. He received monastic tonsure in a Yiwei year and full ordination in the following Bingshen year. He later traveled widely, studying Buddhist doctrine and practicing Chan.
His writings include The Initial Collection of Writings by Ji Zhou Daoren, The Mahāyāna Bodhisattva Spirit in the Analects, and Shuo Shi Shu Bao, among other works. He has also selected and compiled essential passages from the Zongjing Lu and the Complete Works of Master Ouyi, totaling more than one million Chinese characters, with brief commentaries added to highlight key points. These selections also serve as a direct and accessible guide for beginners entering the path of Buddhist study and practice.
